The human mind does everything to support and make our day possible. Learning is part of our cognitive faculty which helps us manage and controls our thoughts and acquire new ideas and knowledge in the ``central machine`` of the body.

Learning is the ability to acquire or gain new understanding, knowledge, ideas, skills, attitude, behavior, values, and choices.

We learn a lot from our bodies, friends, family members, acquittances, animals, and others in the environment. Learning sometimes does takes time, and requires consciousness, attention, and continuous practice for the mind to grasp and accepts new changes on the subject of learning.

We learn through:

#1 Take a study nap.

Why take a study nap first? Rest is very important in a lot of activities. For us to learn, memorize and recollect knowledge taught and or read, it is important to rest. Take 13 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes break to relax the brain. Don’t force the mind when you are taking nap to read a book. Just rest. You will release that after resting you are able to remember what you have learned. Others force themselves to learn new things even if the mind is tired. The mind needs rest to process information to be stored and recollect when you need them.

#2 Read and write.

One of my top and most effective method of learning when I want to learn a new idea or knowledge from a book is to read and write. This is how the read and write method is done, you will pick any materials you want to learn from, ensure you have a pen and a notepad. As you read, write them down. You will read to yourself loudly or inwardly inside your head. You can underline words, and sentences to digest the words more by reading to yourself.

# 3 Teach someone.

I know this sounds obvious to you, that you have a problem in acquiring the information you want to learn. Right now, I am informing you to do the impossible because you have little knowledge of the subject. Don`t worry. If you take this bold step to teach others who don’t understand the little thing you know. You will impact and learn new things in the process. You will give yourself an edge to experiment on the topic you want to learn. So, you will gain and impact others at the same time.

# 4 learn in a short interval of time.

The mind is like a machine. It needs rest to revamp its energy. Input knowledge into it without rest is disturbing. Have you ever noticed this? Learning for a long period of time, let say 5–7 hours non-stop. Are you able to recollect all the things you learned after the 5–7 hours of learning? No, right! This is because the mind or brain is able to recollect few words, sentences for the first 1–3 hours’ time of learning and other remaining hours are unclear to the mind since it is stressed up or given a lot of loads to carry. Learn in the small intervals for the mind to process, interpret, and recollect information to order to enter your memory system.
